Mae Chaem is a long-established rural centre, with an expanding infrastructure, albeit slightly off mainstream tourism’s beaten track. That said, there’s an upsurge of interest in the area, and quite a lot of development in accommodation infrastucture.
In the surrounding hills and valleys, a number of up-market resorts are offering excellent accommodation.
